CONTEXT

El Dorado International Airport, one of the most important in Latin America, needed to update its iOS application. The previous version did not meet the expectations of the thousands of passengers and companions who use the airport daily.

THE CHALLENGE

The challenge was to transform the app into a clear, modern, and accessible digital experience that offered the same level of quality the airport provides in its physical facilities. The application had to be intuitive, useful, and adaptable to different types of users, from frequent travelers to occasional companions.

THE PROCESS

Through user research, journey mapping, and a redesigned information architecture, we identified the main needs: quick access to flights, maps, services, and relevant notifications.

The design approach prioritized simplicity, smooth navigation, and visual accessibility.
